How it Works:

Based on the resale value we offer 30% purchase price or 45% store credit. You can elect to do one or the other or a bit of both. I also have a consignment feature that nets you 40% after the sale that is usually reserved for collectible items, or high or consistent volumes of vintage. Items that are not clean or have simple repair work will receive an as-is resale price. Since your percentage is based on the resale value, the more ready to put on the sale floor your items are the more you receive. 

I will pass on broken zippers, stained, ripped and discolored vintage unless it is a covetable, rare or collectible piece.

We have one buyer: me, Sabrina! See the days I’m in this month for buying below. Call first if it will be an inconvenience for you to drop off in the event I am not available or already on appointment. If you have less than 20 items you can walk-in those days without appointment, if you have more please call to schedule an appointment. If those days don’t work, you can call me at 573-449-3320 so we can talk about what you have. I can easily ‘sort’ through your vintage via text photos (not the above phone number) which would allow you to bring in the pre-sorted items on your preferred days and I will get back to you with totals.  If you are traveling from out of state or far away please make an appointment first.

BUYER IN: Thursday November 13th, Friday November 14th, Tuesday November 16th, Thursday November 20th, Tuesday November 25th , Friday November 28th. (Black Friday is usually busy with foot traffic, come with time and patience.)

You can bring items in any day Tuesday - Sunday. When I am not in, my staff will pre-select through your items looking for true vintage, seasonal and acceptable condition items. I will call you within one to four days with verdict or totals. If you do a drop-off, items that we pass on will be donated to a local charitable thrift store one week from that time.  If you want your items back, pick them up by the end of the 7th day after dropping off.

What we buy:

We buy vintage from the 20s to the late 90s. We look for both collectible items as well as trending styles. We buy based on demand as well as what is in stock. For instance, if we still have 75 sweatshirts and it is June we may pass on a very basic sweatshirt. We buy seasonally, however, certain collectible items have no season. Amazing T-Shirts or Denim for instance, we won't care if it's middle of winter or summer. 

In demand items are difficult to articulate as far as silhouette, fabric, current trends etc. But the best thing I can tell you to help pre-sort what you have is I will only take made in USA, Ladies Garments Workers Union  (ILGWU tag), vintage made in Hong Kong and European.  Items that are from the 2000s are too modern for us, those will have labels that say they are made in China, Singapore, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Cambodia, Mexico and Sri Lanka.

Our general buying seasons are as follows:

• Late January to Early April: SPRING : Lightweight jackets, windbreakers, lightweight long sleeve shirts and blouses. Think wardrobe you would wear in the spring.
• Late April to Early July: SUMMER :Tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, sundresses, short sleeve shirts. Think wardrobe you would wear in the summer.
• Late July to Early October: FALL: Cotton sweaters, terry cloth dresses, quilt lined jackets, cardigans. Think wardrobe you would wear in the fall.
• Mid-November to early January: WINTER: Chunky wool sweaters, heavyweight coats, flannel lined jeans, furs. Think wardrobe you would wear in the winter.
